Funeral homes are too often participants in creating an atmosphere of denial when it comes to death. Thus, family and friends miss a significant opportunity to fully participate in the final good-bye to their loved one. This care is vitally important, not only in offering proper love and respect to the deceased, but also in bringing healing to those who grieve. We strive to offer such healing care.
Ancient Burials' sensitive care towards the deceased and their families comes from our own experience. Zane and Julia have lost family members and friends, too. We know that there is healing power in properly caring for someone who has died. We encourage families of loved ones to participate as much as they are comfortable. Such personalized care may seem innovative, but it's actually part of an old way of doing things. It originates from the days before funeral homes became part of the profit-focused funeral industry.
