Dartmouth Funeral Home has been family owned and operated since local Dartmouth man, Francis MacDonald, founded the company in 1940. Francis MacDonald operated Dartmouth Funeral Home with his son John for many years. Mr. MacDonald and his company soon became well known and highly respected within the profession as well as in the surrounding community. After the passing of Mr. MacDonald in 1973, the company was passed on to another owner; which is how current owner and operator, Phillip Levandier, became involved. For the past 30 years Phillip Levandier, along with his wife Julie, have owned and operated the company; closely following the compassionate and dedicated values of founder Francis MacDonald. Today, our staff are caring professionals who understand that each family is unique and have personal requests and traditions. We are proud to offer a complete range of services; including both traditional and cremation.
