On January 5th, 1960 Mr. Nicholas Friscolanti and William D'Alessandro opened the doors of the Friscolanti Funeral Home at 43 Barton St. E., Hamilton. It was a modest building consisting of two visitation rooms. This new building had replaced three small homes that had occupied the site previously.
Nick and William served the local community with fairness and excellent service. They made themselves available 24 hours a day and as their reputation grew, so did the building at 43 Barton St. A second floor was added and other buildings removed to add parking.
In 1971 Friscolanti Funeral Home was incorporated as Friscolanti Funeral Chapel Ltd. and held in partnership with the Friscolanti and D'Alessandro families.
In recent years the Funeral Home has undergone extensive renovations and added a second generation of the Friscolanti and D'Alessandro family members. We remain a proud family owned business. We are proud of our staff and their diverse talents, abilities and attention to detail, which allow us to best serve your needs.
